2010 PreRunner SR5 DC

Pioneer MVH-p8200 hu with XM receiver using TSS supplied shark fin cable, Mud Flap cut mod.

2010 DC with aftermarket HU having issues with no signal. I will try the after market antenna but curious if anyone has replaced a defective shark fin ? And how to replace or check connection in roof? Pull headliner?
