Is this a good buy?

Im looking into getting these subs and amp. They are two 10w3v2s, 2ohms. The amp is an Alpine MRP-M500. All for $170. I plan to buy the supercrewsound box for the dc. Not sure if I should pull the trigger.

If everything is in order that sounds like a good deal. I say do it you shouldn't be disappointed.

I dont know what "subs clip out" means, but if the amp works, and he will do both for $170, and everything is in good working condition, yes, its a decent price. Those are the older W3's, v2 I think. Not as good as the current ones, but decent subs.

Subs clip out? The amp could be clipping but you can't hear it. You would have to have an oscope to see when the amp is clipping. I'm not really sure what he means by that.

yea me either. I would look for the w3v3s but they wouldn't fit behind my seat. I'm going to try to get it all for 150 =]

You can fit 2 JL Audio W3V3-4's behind the rear seat of your DC.

Mr. Marv says fitting a 10w3v3 isn't possible behind the seats of a dc
