So I have been looking at putting a double din head unit in my truck and I have been leaning towards the "Pioneer P3300BT" My only worry about it is I don't think it has "Stereo Bluetooth" capability. My questions is, what Pioneer head unit is just like this, doesn't have nav built in, but has Stereo bluetooth? Also, would a stereo bluetooth usb adapter work on this unit if I plugged it in the front? And one last question, can I get a back up camera for a pioneer unit? Thanks!!

About 99% sure that the unit will have Stereo Bluetooth, that is if you are talking about audio streaming via bluetooth from your bluetooth device to the Pioneer deck. I have used the bluetooth streaming on both my P8000BT and also my current AVIC-X930BT. I don't think you will need a stereo bluetooth adapter. The 3300BT seems like what you want.

Also, you can definitely get a backup camera for a Pioneer unit. They range from $15 plate cameras to the $150-$200 Pioneer camera. I myself used the Sony Xplod backup camera for mine and I modified the tailgate handle to get it to fit and it works awesome. You seem like you are on the right track.

Thanks for the back up camera info, as far as the A2DP Bluetooth streaming another member on here said the unit I am looking at will not do that...? He has one, So thats kind of a bumber. And to add it is like $200. It will however connect to my phone to talk etc. Just not stream music.

Yes you are correct. That unit cannot do A2DP. My bad on that one. But you are welcome on the rest of the info.

Have you heard anything on this unit? (JVC KW-AVX840) It has everything I need, and also streams A2DP Bluetooth.

The pioneer 3300bt doesn't do audio streaming BT, only calls. FYI.. I bought it thinking it supported bluetooh audio, it doesn't.

Pioneer is on my shit list of sorts. Only their most expensive radios support A2DP. I ended up buying a 150 dollar Sony stereo that does exactly what I want. Not a super awesome head unit and it has its flaws, but it does what I needed, and that was A2DP.

Pathetic that the cheapest of radios will do A2DP but if you want the feature in a nicer radio you must pay extra for it. Shit the stupid DUAL audios in walmart have more features!

I agree, but I paid 200$ new for the 3300BT Deck so I can't really bitch about it much.. And I really don't care about the blue tooth streaming when it has SD and USB ports on it.. Hook up a 320gig external HDD, load it full of music/movies and put it in the glove box. problem solved.

Where did you get the deck for that price? Have you been happy with it, as far as speed etc. And it still has built in bluetooth for calling right? Thanks

I don't know what a2dp is but all I know is the AVH3300BT has Bluetooth connectivity hence the BT....?? I just ordered it and from what I remember it streams music via Bluetooth as well.
