Guys, I want to install one of the "Magic Subs" (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_777B8PT/Sound-Ordnance-B-8PT.html?tp=114#customer-reviews-tab) that others have done behind the rear seat of my DC. I have done this sort of thing many times so I know how to install. But, what I want to know is where the easiest location is to tap into the rear speaker wires to run wire to the hi level inputs (or install LOC) on the sub. I would rather not have to pull out the head unit or crack open the doors. Surely the rear speaker wires run along the sills. Anyone got any pointers on finding them? I searched but came up empty.

I know its been a few months, but did you ever get the sub installed?

I'm thinking of getting one of these.

How does it sound? Does it hit hard?

    thanks

I can't speak to how well it will fit/integrate in a 2nd Gen, but I'm very happy with my Sound Ordnance B-8PT powered subwoofer. Install (under the driver's seat) was easy, and it sounds great. You're not going to rock the neighborhood with it, but it does a great job of filling-in the low-end.

IIRC, there are several of us running them. Check out what users have to say...
