I am thinking about just going ahead and doing a new HU while I do the other stuff. I was at first looking at single DIN units, but now I am looking at the double din stuff. What are current good models? I dont have an Iphone or Ipod...so that doesnt matter to me. i would like to have the most preouts I can have, would love to have something that would work great with android style phones...blue tooth, and possibly the HD radio option.

    What should I look at?

Bluetooth AND HD are not generally found in the same package for cheap.

Bluetooth in a decent head unit, you're looking to pay some good money.

Personally, I bought a stupid Sony head unit. It did what I want, it doesn't have enough preouts, only one set, but I managed. It has bluetooth A2DP and calling, works GREAT with my Androids. Got it for roughly 125. Some day I'll buy something nicer, honestly it sucks but it does what I want.

Best radios these days it seems are Excelons.

Clarion has a 2012 line out now. They look pretty decent.
