CD players

Well i work for Bobby RaHL Toyota Lexus and i received a free 6 disc voice nav. Touch screen Head unit. Has anyone ever installed one of these in a 2004 Tacoma? I hooked it up enough to get the thing to turn on and play but the problem is, is that the volume i can not turn up/down. i know that it does not have a build in amplifier. And the stock 4-Runner that i took it out of had the at hand volume control. Do i need these options to make this thing work? If anyone has any idea on what i need to do please advise.....


I might be willing to maybe trade this thing if the deal is worth it.
Looking for 04 Tacoma parts.. Anyone interested let me know...

 

What year / model 4Runner did the unit come from?

I'm confused about how you're sure the volume couldn't be changed. Did you actually hook it up to an external amp?
