what a good sounding system for the tacomas(compared to jbl)

im looking toupgrade my stereo and am lost on where to get a good sounding system. i want it to be comparable to the jbl system in the trds. i just put in a pioneer avh-2300 head unit and now want better sound. any suggestions??

 

i wouldnt mind a sub but nothing too crazy. i listen to heavy metal mostly not much rap

 

Ok, I was looking online and came across some kits on *********.com that sounded pretty good, well at least on the computer. And it was a whole kit all six speakers and a sub.

 

awesome im liking all these options to look into. since we can obviously tell im new at all this whats some opiions on lifts?? i was gunna go w a 3in leveling kit and put 32s on. i just know there are a ton of options and most of them are pretty pricey.

 

Very true!!

 

Focal speakers sound great. They have some nice setups for pickups.

My opinion is that it's all about the speakers. One deck pretty much sounds as good as another.

I went ahead and put a small 10" sub in later on and really noticed the improvement - wow!
