Can i use my factory headunit??

    Just a few dont tell the wife!!!
    I got a 2010 toyota tacoma trd sport so im guessing i have the jbl headunit?
    Its got the 6 disk changer.So my question to u ppl is if i put subs and a amp in my truck can i run it off my stock headunit?
    If so how do i run rca's to an amp??
    im quit able to do stereos set ups but never done one off a factory head unit?

    It is possible you would need to buy a kit that converts your normal speaker wire into RCA wire, only downside to this is the sound quality is not too good. would sound muddy.

    Yes, you need a line in converter. If done correctly it will only help better the sound of the system. JL CleanSweep is very good.
