This may be a simple answer to a n00b question, but....

if I disconnect the negative battery terminal before putting in speakers and amps and whatnot, will that prevent the side air bags from blowing up in my face?

    I hope so,

The side airbags have me pretty nervous....I feel like I could set them off if I go poking around behind the interior panels looking to run wires and stuff.

Thanks for any help and hazing
