Just replaced factory speakers with Pioneer 6x8's in the front and rear. Replaced factory tweeters with Infinity 107t's. Was wondering how to tie in the tweeters? Running an Alpine MRP-F250 amp. The Head has RCA outputs that I am running to the amp just for the front 2 and back 2 speakers. There are extra connections for gauged wire for front and rear. Should I hook them up to the front speaker outputs? Any suggestions?

generally you use crossovers. is it safe to assume the 6x8's are 3 way or something like that. if so, they have a tweeter built in.

Correct, the 6X8's are 3-way and the tweeters have crossovers.

if you have 3 way speakers, you really don't need the extra tweeters.

but if you want to hook them up and you have a cross over, i'd run the wires from the amp to the cross over and then the 6x8's to the woofer side, and the tweeter to the tweeter side.

    it may sound funky...who knows.
