I plan to install my jl amp and solo baric sub in my 2009 std cab prerunner. Does anyone know the process for connecting it too the stock radio? I dont want to use an aftermarket radio and just wondering if anyone has done this? Thanks

what jl audio amp are u using. if its a slash series i think jl audio sells special rca input harnesses for that amp. that's the cheapest way to do it. if you want the best sound you need a processor that strips the factory eq. there is the jl audio cleansweep, rockford fosgate 3sixty and the mtx re-q. my preference is in the order listed, with the jl cleansweep being the best and easist to install.

yeah the cleansweep connects to factory headunit speaker outputs. most people mount it somewhere in the dash or glove box. then the rca outputs connect to your amp. i too am thinking of going this route but i favor the new alpine ipod only headunits. glad this helps.
