Having volume issues,it appears I have lost a lot of the volume, all speakers are putting out,but am not getting the volume I used to get.Is is possible I have an amp in protect mode or an issue with the head unit, this was just one of those all of a sudden problems. The loss difference is about half or better on the volume, any help will be appreciated........BTW great site lots of great info here.

Have you checked your settings? The little speaker at the bottom of the screen, you may have the balance of the music messed up or something. But idk, mine has never done that before.

Yes been all through the settings even got the manual out and double checked. An example of how bad it is, would be to get to the level of volume on 18, I now have to be around 30 or better ...very strange deal here

Is your DSP on? I notice on mine, that with DSP on, it seems a bit louder, maybe not to the extent you're talking, but somewhat.
