I am looking for anyone (especially someone with a first generation tacoma) that has put a Scion T1809 head (by Pioneer) unit in their vehicle.
I am considering this unit and need some feedback on it.
I also would like to see if anyone can get me a pic of what the display looks like when playing music from an ipod.

You can get the unit for around $100. The advantage is that it looks stock and is made by Pioneer and is plug-n-play with the Toyota wiring harness. You couldn't get an aftermarket unit that nice for the price.
