2nd gen? Yes. This box will allow it to fit if you get the extra mounting depth. With that said how they allow it to fit is by cutting a hole in the MDF and putting a piece of wood on the outer part of the mdf and gluing it on. They are still great boxes though I've had 3 of them from them and all have have been very high quality and I've been very pleased with them. Email them and ask them to cut the air space down to size so that it'll be just right for the subs because they have them advertised with to much air for the W3's. They have boxes for 1, 2, and 3 sub's.

If you don't mind a few dollars lookup the JL Stealthbox. I have the one for an access cab and I believe it works in the double cab and they do have a dual mount with subs for the double cab. The boxs make them sound great and the one I have makes it sound like I got a 12" going.

thanks for the comments. It is going to save me some money because i don't have to get a shallow mount subs. What is the best amp for 2 w3v3s?

A Kenwood KDC8105D will make them bang hard to run them at full RMS you'll need a 1,000w RMS amp, so something like the JL 1000/1. I suggest getting the Kenwood first and upgrading later if you feel the need to do so, but I doubt you will. The stealth box is really good though. I had the opportunity to listen to one a few day's ago and they are really nice.

How much does the 1000/1 jl amp run? And also does the Jl amp sound a lot better than the kenwood.. wondering if the jl amp is going to be worth the money.

JL you're paying for the name and its always been overpriced. No luck with the stealthbox?

I believe the one's for your Tacoma take dual 8" W3's they come pre-loaded from the factory all you need is an amp, trim work on the bins, and time to install it, it would take me an hour max. Don't believe the bullshit that 8's can't bump, that's for people who don't know how to make decent enclosures. Crutchfield has them for sale. I'll agree that JL products are a bit overpriced but worth it, imo.

Somewhere around a grand I believe, whereas the kenwood can be found at around 2-300. They both sound great in the real world, on paper the JL is better I'm sure but I can recall the exact specs at the moment. I personally have the kenwood and it has never quit and never gotten so hot that its burned my hand because it's a very good efficient amp.

The stealth box only comes in dual 8's or dual 6.5's, I believe not 100% sure though. The Supercrewsound.com box that I linked in my first response will allow you to fit a single, double, or triple 10" W3.

JL stealth box, JL W3V3 - any size and JL amps are way overpriced. I would not buy any line of their sub unless it's a W6 or W7. Unfortunately you can't fit either of those in a DBL cab. Go on DIYMA.com. There is a ton of usefully reading on that site.
