    Any recommendations? I've never had one and just recently came up on a sound bar minus the toslink cable

    Fiber optic cable?
    Just look for one that isn't fragile. They all sound the same.

    like i said i dont have any experience with these wires. i looked up fiber optic and toslink and they seem different but idk

    Nahh... same thing, just not the same connector used in fiber optic communications, and the sheathing is generally more robust.

    Fiber's fiber.... single mode or multimode, and the type of connector are the only functional differences.
    You can get one for a reasonable price from Best Buy.

    so i just ended up buying the Amazon 5$ one and see how it all plays out
