Hi folks I've been doing some research and was thinking this sub/amp will work.. hoping for some confirmation that nothings gonna burn up with this setup...

I have Massive Audio nx4 4 ch amp--
the manual clearly shows it is bridgeable, 4ohm 2x400w a 3 channel setup is possible with a sub rated 4ohm or 8 ohm
Pioneer ts-sw2501s4 shallow mount sub-4ohm svc 300 rms

My current setup I have two Massive Audio RK6 comps in front on 2 channels. I don't really want to add another amp so I want to add the Pioneer sub by bridging to a 3rd channel on the amp. I want to make sure nothings gonna blow up with my family in the truck, can anyone comment on if this will work? any help would be appreciated

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
You should be able to bridge the 3 and 4 channel to run the sub and run the front off of the 1 and 2 channel. I ran a HD600/4 that way for a while.

What he said you should be fine. Right now I've got a system in my Dad's car that has a Polk Audio DXi6500 component system and the JL 6.5 W3 in a factory made sub box all running off of a JL 400/4. 2 channels run the Polk's with the passive x-over that came with them channel 3 and 4 are bridged at 4 ohms and run the sub. Basically, from what I can tell, it's a smaller version of what you're wanting to do.

appreciate the replies, I've done tons of research but feel better hearing back from those who've done it before...

Yea man, as long as your amp is bridgable and your ohm load is within spec you won't have any trouble.

Yea, the manual clearly states 3rd channel can be setup, bridgable with the diagram showing 4ohm or 8ohm sub tied to the amp. I figure the Pioneer will do the trick as it is listed as 4ohm, thanks
