So, just to clarify, this harness will convert R3 and R10 into R15?

Wish I had found that before I depinned each harness and re-wired it...that was a pain.

    hey there
i ordered some of these but they are the wrong pins for the toyota connectors to the amp wiring and the other radio connectors - they are 0.64 II connectors

the right pins are 0.64 III connectors
    http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/1674311-1/A104954CT-ND/3454187

this is very confusing but the type II connectors simply will not seat all the way into the plug- they are about 1/2 inch short

    I got mine from here:
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-CAR-NAVIGATION-UNITS-GPS-ANTENNA-09-/320819856679

It's a tight fit but it will work. I also purchased an OEM antenna (from a prius) for $90 to compare and the $20 aftermarket antenna picked up more satellites. The $20 one is also a magnet. I just hooked it onto the entune and put it under the dash. I know some people claim to get better reception by placing it above the dash or on the roof but I've had no problems so far.

Make sure the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) wire is properly connected. If not the GPS will not work properly.

I'm trying to install a USB port on my 2013 HU. I found a wiring diagram for E16 but it doesn't differentiate the #2 &#3 wire. In order for me to splice it into a USB cable, I need to know which is + and which is -. Any help would be appreciated.....

I have a 2010 Double Cab Sport with a Bluetooth/JBL XM head unit and I bought the 04080 touch screen from a 2012 without JBL. Has anyone adapted this swap or am I just screwed?

Any and all help is much appreciated.

To help, I have bought the adapter and microphone harness, but the issue comes down to the AMP harness connector?

    Thank you !

From what I've read the biggest issue is going from Non-JBL to JBL. I haven't seen much about reverse stepping from JBL to Non-JBL.

In my truck I have an 2012 Non-JBL and screwed up and bought a 2013 JBL head unit (with Nav and Entune). I knew it wasn't going to be a plug and play swap over, but after pulling my radio out I decided it was going to be way more work than I wanted to put into it. I put the 2012 head unit back in my truck, and put the 2013 JBL system back in its box. Its been sitting on my garage shelf ever since.

I just purchased a 2014 Non-JBL head unit and plan to put it in my truck. If you're interested in the 2013 JBL unit send me a PM and we'll work something out. I plan to post the 2013 unit for sale as soon as I get the 2014 unit installed.

I just bought a 2012 radio for my 2007 Tacoma and am waiting on the rest of the interior parts to match. The initial writeup link is broken, does anyone know the part numbers to get it to work? I believe you just need the 28 pin harness?
