Will a factory head unit fit from a 2010 fit a 2005

Was wondering if a 2010 factory head unit will fit a 2005. Thanks guys! Zach

 

yes.. as long as both trucks are non jbl...or if both are jbl it will work

 

You can use a non JBL with a JBL and the other way around.. But it will be a pain in the ass to wire up.

 

Yeah if you get all the jbl speakers and the jbl amp and the whole jbl wire harness.. Non jbl radios have speaker outputs and jbl radios just sends signal to the jbl amp which in return sends the sound to the speakers.. Also jbl runs at a different impedience.. But ur right it can be done if u are to change everything dealing with the radio.. Also they have different plugs into the radio..
