2011 Tacoma

Has anybody done an installation on a 2011 tacoma or similar? I'm wondering how wires are run out of sight to power the mirror features. Looks like the cab ceiling has to be dropped to hide wires. Feels like there is an available slot in the cab ceiling behind the mirror that wires could be feed through.
