    my vote is sd, although im pretty disappointed in my setup, wish i went with one ported 12 instead of 2 sealed 10s.....

    coming from 2 type rs in 5 cubes in an suv.......nothing will compare in my double cab :(

    Sundown for the WIN!!! And yes more cone area will yield more bass. But you have to compare apples to apples. You cant say a 12" kicker comp is louder than a 10" sundown sa-10 but you can say the sundown sa-10 will be louder than the sa-8 with the recommended power and enclosure. Im a bass head as well and i have two sundown sa-8s on 3500 watts and it now seems stock to me.....fail

    I'm running an Infinity Reference 8" in a Mr. Marv inspired access cab sealed box with about .38 cubic feet airspace, powered by an 2 channels on an Alpine 4 channel class D amp. At 200 watts, this little sub rocks! It's not going to win any contests, but it's a nice clean sound that suits me fine, and I still have room in the back for other stuff.

    Alpine Type_R 12 (shallow) Fits behind the seats of a double cab, hits hard. 500 watts is under powering it a bit tho but you'll be close until you can upgrade amps later.
