    Hi,

I have been reading Tacomaworld since September when I got my 08 Taco. Lots of good info. Fourth one I have owned. I am looking into buying the Kenwood DNX5120 in dash gps. I have been searching around for an answer to a question and cannot find the answer. On sonicelectronix's website, the specs on the 5120 state "No audio playback during navigation. Does this mean if it is displaying a map you cannot listen to the radio or does that mean something else?

    Thanks,

    Jay

    Welcome to TW!

IMO, I would just buy a Garmin Nuvi if you're looking just for GPS. Mine works well and I can transport it to different vehicles if I need to.

yes you can listen to music while looking at the nav screen. Go to youtube and search DNX5120, there are a couple of video reviews on there. Mine arrives tomorrow:D! If thats your price range, GO FOR IT! you won't find a better one for that price with all the features and as good reviews. Now if you feel like dropping the extra cash for the next model up go for that.
    Good luck,
    Khris
