What's your opinion on what would be the correct Mids speaker size 2 1/2 or 6 1/2 for a 3 way active or 2.1 , highs, Mids and sub
    Thanks

Will eventually go 4 ways -3.1 so I'm specifically looking at the Hertz Mille Ml 700 and the ML 1600

We installed a Hertz Mille 3 way in a Tacoma about a year ago. The drivers were the Mille ML280, ML700, and ML1600. For the sub stage, we built a custom box to the rear wall of the truck for two JL 10w1v2's. It was the best sounding stereo I've ever heard inside a vehicle. My boss said the same thing and he's been building high end custom car stereo for 20 years.

Over on diyma, the Dayton 7" reference gets a lot of respect. That and the peerless sls 6.5 or 8. They got a really good selection install write ups. Check them out
