I would like to have Satellite Radio installed in my 2011 Tacoma TRD, Double Cab. Ive done a search on this Forum and on Google, but doesnt look like anyone has posted thier ideas or lessons learned. Ive spoke with Toyota and the tech said it wasnt available for the 2011 model, only 2010 and that wont work. Doesnt seem to make sence, thats why Im here. Maybe, Im not looking in the right place, but heres what I need.

Basically would like to install a system that uses the factory wiring. My stock radio has an " AM-SAT" button, but no roof antenna. Dont care for the fin antennas or wires across the roof.

    Anyone attempted this yet? Thanks

There is a way to do it. I did a writeup here:

Should have most if not all the info you need.

    Cheers!

Vais tech has a an interface adaptor that pairs with an audiovox tuner. Did mine for a '13. Cost me about $330 with shipping, $75 for local install with running the antenna on my dash hidden under my dash cover. Works like a champ!
