Kenwood DNX6190HD, ID XS-65, Alpine PDX-F4

Hello everyone! Newbie here. I recently had a Kenwood DNX6190HD head unit installed. I have a 2013 Tacoma and wanted to upgrade the head unit. The shop said I needed an adapter for the stock antenna to work with this aftermarket HU. Does anyone know if this is true and where can I buy this adapter? Thanks.
