antenna cable cut/interference

    ok so i had to remove my stock fenders and that damn antenna base plate would not unscrew no matter what i did to it. i destroyed the chrome ring with the 4 slots that you are supposed to unscrew, still nothing.

    i ended up just cutting the cable on the underside of the base plate.
    now i never listen to am/fm radio..ever. but will the cut cable give me any interference on XM radio, cd, ipod or aux inputs?

    ill pull the whole cable out if i need too :cool:
