    Midland 1001z not the best place but later i will install in the center console. i also have a lil will antenna thats rests on top of the back seats when not in use.

    Don't use Velcro!!!!!!!!!!! If you get in a wreck that radio will go flying. It's very Dangerous. I use a pedistal mount with 4" extention from Gijoes on line. Total $14 plus shipping. Bolted thru passenger side of hump infront even with cupholders. It ends up exactly where Socalman22's midland is in the post above this one
