aux help

    ive looked for an answer and cant find it anywhere. i dont know if other peoples trucks do this but i got a 2010 trd access cab and the radio and cds go pretty loud just the auxiliary is so much quieter. ive tried multiple cables and a couple different ipods too and tryied shutting the sound check off too. i dont know if it needs some kinda amp for the aux or wat but if anyone has any solutions help. thanks

    It's not you, it's the way the Aux works...especially if you are listening to podcasts or ebooks....I have to have my Ipod all the way up and the radio at like 55 to hear it...

    That's why it's better to have usb connector for Ipods etc...but the Aux is a far second in performance.

    Yup...the Aux port is crap. Have to have the Iphone volume on full blast & it still plays at half the volume of the CD player.

    Yep the stock headunit sucks. Definitely worth upgrading
