How deep is your box at the top? Any help is appreciated. I need to be able to go 7-1/2" for my box design to work. Do y'all think that would fit at about 15" off the floor? I have searched and found alot of good advice but nothing with specific dimensions.

15, in a regular cab? What 15 are you looking at? Just by seeing a regular cab's space vs. my 2011 DC, I'm going to go with No it won't fit but I'm not 100% sure.

My box is 18 inches tall x 16 wide, 8 inches deep at the bottom, 5 at the top with a notch for the c channel on the back and it fits on the passenger side with the jack in the stock location

I ended up making it 13-1/4"H x 14"W x 7-1/2"D with a notch @ 9-3/4" up the back, 1-1/2" deep. Box calculator says it's .47 cf and the speaker company reccomends .5 to be ideal with a range of .37 - .70 so it's close to on the money. I'll take a pic later of how it fits. It's very tight.

I didn't have to do anything to my truck at all other than move the jack handle under the seat. The seat doesn't go quite all the way back but it's back further than I have it normally.
