2013 non-entune touchscreen

Test drove a 2013 today with the non-entune touchscreen.As we drove the screen blanked out making it impossible to dial a call using the Bluetooth.Is there a way to cancel out this safety feature of the screen blanking out...

 

when i use mine, it doesnt let u access the dialer but u can use your call log if trying to call out. The screen doesnt black out though

 

It's a safety thing...certain features are disabled while the vehicle is in motion. There is a way to deactivate it I'm sure, but it'll take time to figure it how to do so.

Most of e options are still enabled, just not things that would really "distract" you from the road.

 

set speed dials....speed dial can be accessed while driving. new numbers, nope

as far as blackout...it dims when lights are on, you adjust the contrast.
and it has a polarized filter so if you have polarized glasses it may be hard to see
