Hey guys, i couldn't find anyone else that has done this, but I purchased this http://www.scosche.com/mounts/stuckup-4-in-1-universal-mounting-kit-for-iphone-mobile-devices and I tried to mount it on/in the empty slot by the power outlets so i (badly) drilled a hole in it, but its loose as there is nothing supporting the suction cup end thats in the inside of the plastic. so how would i get this to be secure? If that didn't make sense the phone is loose when its mounted, how do i get it to not move? sorry if this has already been posted i couldn't find anything, thanks!

Don't mount anything in your dash. It will only clutter it up. I say attach it to your ear. That way, you'll always be ready for phone calls.

So are you saying the suction cup is behind there holding it in?

yes, its not "holding" anything but the plastic part is just in there freely, the suction cup isn't connected to anything

 You need some type of screw or something behind the panel you can tighten it up with to mount that securely. That what I was talking about earlier about the backing plate. I thought you had it screwed from behind the panel.

Try getting you a goose neck mount and hooking that to your holder for the phone. It will have a mount on the bottom of it.

    Something like this...
