    Looking for some guidance on subwoofer boxes for double cab tacos. Recently purchased a 2013 and would love to get my stereo equipment hooked up.

    Found this but prices seem a bit high for a single 10" box (although i need an 8")

    Anything is helpful!

    Looks like everyone is doing the dual 10" setup off Amazon or ebay...

    I came across this single box... can get it in 8" or 10" cutout. $99 +25 shipping. Anyone on here have any experience with this?

    I'm also searching for a dual 10", but it requires 9 5/16 cut outs for Pioneer shallow mounts. I've searched this site to get a hold of Mr Marv and I can't find his contact info. Would appreciate it, thx

    Unless you know what you are doing most people who make their own boxes end up ruining the sound quality.. My first stereo box was horrible.. I've maybe built 50-75 since then and now they are easy.

    Between myself and car buddies we could get it done, but I'd rather buy a box ready to go at this point. I just fear buying a box online that I've never seen or tried to test fit.

    I have the SuperCrewSounds single sub enclosure in my truck with a JL W3v3 in it. I opted for the deeper mounting depth, which really is a hole cut in the back of the box, and a 1/4" board sealing the hole. The JL fits perfect for me, and it's just the right amount of bass. It kicks, and I can rattle teeth with the right song, but for the most part, it just puts out the beats with little effort. I have it hooked up to an Alpine MRP-M500 amp for 500Watts running to it.

    very true, but I'd still say its pretty easy. Only tricky part is getting the air volume correct for the sound you want. But that's quickly learned by trial and error. :)

    @ZMan2k2

    Do you have any other pictures of the box before installation and during installation? I'd like to get a better idea of what to expect. Thanks!
