JBL = factory sub. The best NAV double DIN is Kenwood which uses Garmin Nav product. I have a DNX 9950 in my 2010 and have no complaints other than slow processor and confusing menus. The latest units have faster processors and you get used to the menus eventually.

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
The new kenwood is very nice, a little overpriced IMO, if you want the new one wait a few months and the price will probably come down. I went with JVC which i think uses navtech, and the navigation isnt great, garmin definitely has a better navigation system.

Pioneer seems to top the number of installs done. I owned the AVIC-Z140BH (2012 flagship). It still had a lot of room for improvement. I couldnt say that the new 2013 is any better, but overall they are good in comparison tot he competition.

Alpine has a 8" that they developed their "Perfect Fit" system for the 2012-2013 Tacoma. It looks beautiful! Cant speak for the actual use of the Nav.

Kenwood people seem to like a lot as Kenwood seems to listen to the customer, rather than tell the customer what the customer wants. They supply updates to their navigation units years after they are released (Pioneer typically just says but a new unit).

iPad mini with tons of custom work would be ideal. Like the SoundmanCA job on that Volkswagon. Total tits.

I think the alpin avh. 8400** has nav. i have the avh 4400bh with out niv but with dvd and all, and is a ver nice unit. nice screen, starts up fast when starting truck, the touch response of the screen is very nice and fast.

I bought the 6990hd about a year ago. Looks like a great unit but i sent it back because i decided the 6" was to small in person, so i went with jvc's flagship 7" and im very happy with it, but like i said the navigation could be better. Only reason i didnt go with the kenwood 7" is because it was a little to expensive at the time, its cheaper now tho

DNX9990hd was their flagship 7" last year. I think they are releasing a new one next month but it will probably be overpriced and drop $100-$200 in a few months
