I have a 2013 Tacoma and would like to buy a proper camera for the tailgate and have it display in the LCD panel of the stock radio.

The wiring harness is in place for a camera, and the dealer told me they can sell me a camera and that it will display in the LCD. I don't want to pay Toyota $500+ for the camera.

If I buy a camera and connect it to the existing connector in the tailgate, will I need to do anything else to get it to display in the LCD?

Thanks for your help and advice!

    Ron
