hello all, i just installed my pioneer avh-x1500dvd. i have a 09 prerunner with camera in tailgate and all oem wiring. i ran my rca cable from deck to the black & red cables under coin tray as per other post. i ran my reverse signal cable to the other red cable. when i shift into reverse the screen goes into rear camera mode and back out of it when not in reverse. but i get no image, no fuzz, snow or anything. i am not sure if camera is getting its power. it should if its all factory ran. or am i missing something, do i have to get the 12v. to the camera. thanks in advance. tried to research all before posting. - - curt

i have 12v power at the rear camera on the black wire, blue is ground and I've tried the red and white for video and still get nothing. are my + - cables correct? should it be red + black -. I've heard both options so far.

so the red & white lines are video + -. blue is grounded, now I'm hearing that the camera gets 6v on the black line. where do i get 6v from. this is a prewired truck. i pulled down the headliner plug and i have the 2 video lines as well as a bunch more. no blue? its probably already grounded off somewhere, which line supplies it the 6v?
