Well got my new a few weeks ago and spent the last 2 weeks installing my stereo . Started out by taking the whole interior out and sound proofing everything . Then working on fitting the amps , wiring and sub box and door speakers . Then fitting the dvd changer and playstation and tv monitor and gauges . I decided to stay with the stock head unit for now . Let me tell you they way i have this set up it sounds soooooo wonderful . Heres a list of some of the main stuff in it and install pics . I have a lot of them .

Front & Rear Door Speakers: MB Quart PVI216 6.5 Components
********* Speaker Mounts front and rear
Subs: MB Quart DWI254 10" Dual Voice Coil Subs
    Premade Sub Box
    2 Orion 2150 XTR Amps
    Audio Control EQS
    Alpine 6 disc dvd changer
    Sony 6.5" LCD Monitor
    3 Farad Power Acoustik Cap
    Edead 45 sound deadener
    Glowshift Boost and Volts Gauges

As you can see i custom mount the tv monitor in the center counsle.I mounted the dvd changer and playstation in the glove box. The amps i mounted in the storage wells under the rear seats . I have fans on both sides to keep them cool. One in and one out . Also have holes in the top covers to let heat out . I had to remove the plastic of the back of the seats cause it hit the subs if i left it on . The seats still do it a little but you can almost fold the seats down all the way .Also put a double gauge pod with glowshift boost and volts gauges in it . Well enjoy and let me know what you think .

That looks awesome. How does the truck sound (without the stereo on) with all of the soundproofing. I've been thinking of soundproofing just to get rid of some noise.

    Supercharged. Nice!

I thought it was quiet when it was new now its even better . You pretty much hear nothing . When you have the radio all the way up and bass going and everything closed its so quiet outside the truck . Open the doors and look out like your at a concert lol

Nice. It's great to see someone do it right, top to bottom. I see to many half asses with their crap rattling down the street. You do need to upgrade to PS3, though. [IMG]
    Good work

Yeah i know . I kept the PS1 Cause its small and i had it in my other truck . Plus i got a chip in it . If a had some extra money i would buy a ps3 and take it apart to fit somewhere . But maybe down the road .

I forgot have much bigger the PS3 was, just looked at mine,no way it would fit in the glove box. I guess Wii would be a little tough to play in the truck

But, it could be done. I guess you'd have to stand in the bed to play bowling.

That is a great setup. I dynamatted my '84 firebird doors and that alone made a world of difference. I can imagine doing a full layer of sound deadener in an already quiet cab would pretty much nullify all outside noise.

System looks great, nice details. How hard was it to get the interior carpet and roof lining out. Did it go back in easily?
