Pioneer AVH-X5500BHS Help

I originally ordered th pioneer avhp4400 and the model I actually received was the avhx5500bhs. I think this is the same but the new 2013 model. The problem is I had ordered the xm sat tuner gexp920xm and this will not work with the x5500bhs. I had to order the siriusxm SXV200V1. Is there anyone familiar with any of these head units or tuners. I just need some idea of what will work with what.

 

Wish that would of happened to me! I ordered the same radio. It says on Crutchfield the satellite tuner is built in so i'm not sure what your trying to accomplish. Doesn't seem like you would need the extra part your ordering. Go on crutchfield and act like your looking at them and talk to a rep on there. Get a lot quicker answer probably.

Just called Crutchfield and you do need the SXV200V1 to get satellite.

Thanks for the update. That looks really clean. Did you do it yourself? Also was that entire plastic housing around it something you ordered? What brand?

 

Best buy did the instal for about 150 the kit I ordered from Taco Tunes. I couldn't be happier honestly. With my factory JBL amp and speakers it kicks ass and the whole thing cost me about 850
