2001 stereo removal and install

I have looked around some but in a time crunch. To remove the factory stereo does the whole dash need to come off or will just the piece surrounding the climate controls and radio come off separately?

Yes that would be horrible lol. This one is a little easier than the 2nd gen. Didn't take long to install my double-din on my old 2nd gen, but this install should be quick.

Getting the Pioneer AVH-P4400BH
