Buy the wiring harness. It's a 10 minute job to connect the harness to the Pioneer's plugs.
Do NOT cut your factory harness.

You can find the harness at a stereo shop or online, I got mine from Crutchfield.com

Yep, just get the factory harnesses from crutchfield. There are 2 of them. One is your power/ground/front speakers, second is the rear speakers. I have a spare one of those if you want it (rear), and a set of rear door speaker adapters, I'm about a 1/2hr from you. In your pic - iirc- the middle plug is pwr/grnd/frnt spkrs, the plug on the left is for the rear set and the plug on the right is for the steering wheel controlls. If you take our advise and order from crutchfield, get yourself the steering wheel controll adapter and the factory harness adapter for it and do this all at once.

    Good luck in the future.

When that HU gets stolen, or you want to upgrade, it's going to be a hassle reworking the harness for the new HU.

I feel sorry for the next owner of your truck.

You won't use all the factory plugs. At least I didn't in my 13. What year is yours.

Just to be clear, it's the rear speaker harness plug that I have, not the front w/ pwr etc.

So , will I have to buy more than one harness? Or do they come together?

    '87 and up?

Toyota hasn't changed the harness in 25 years?
