Going crazy, radio jumps sides over bumps

I have a Dual brand in dash DVD player, and I know they are pretty much junk, but mine has been pretty good so far over the 4 yeas or so I have had it. Just recently, whenever I hit a bump, or even if I shake the radio by hand, the sound switched from right to left, and it's really friggin annoying. Does it justr sound like a loose wire? Or could it be something in the radio itself? I am going to pull the unit out tomorrow, what should I be checking for other than an obviously loose connection? Thanks gents.
