I just purchased 2 sundown e8v3 subs. Is this going to sound good inside my tacoma? What kind of box and component speakers should I get? Any recommendations are appreciated.

Build a good box and they will sound good. Sundown is a good sub.

As for speakers, its all about budget. I'll tell you what to buy but you won't like how much they will cost ;)

You are looking at two different sides of the ball park with subs.

ID subs are SQ subs, very clean sounding.

SD subs are SPL. Creates loads of bass.

If you are wanting pressure(SPL), the stuff that pisses off other people around you, go SD.

If you want clean hitting subs, go ID.

Either or are great choices.. Just make sure you use a good amp on them and you'll be happy.

ID speakers are good if you ask me. I've never had issues with them, great sound quality out of them.
