I recently got an '11 TRD with the JBL audio ('09 taco was totalled by a 16 y.o. girl). I'm impressed with the audio but it needs more bass. If I replace the stock subwoofer with a decent aftermarket sub, will it be any louder? I'm only looking for more db/volume. Thanks in advance, Bill Brunsell

Dam, that's what I thought but I was hoping I was wrong. Where is the stock sub amp located? Can I use those inputs for an aftermarket amp?

Should I assume that replacing the sub in conjunction with adding a bigger ground wire from sub-ground still wouldn't make a difference in volume?
