    There were so many complaints with the original AppRadio. The price is very low, and there is a reason. AR3 just came out and at $399, it is still TBD if it is a good replacement over AR2 (which was a big improvement over original AR, but still lacking).

    Bottom line. If you can run ARLiberator on your android phone, DO IT. If you have iPhone and are on a jailbreakable version, DO IT and run ARExtensions. This makes the AR line of headunits actually pretty nice.

    Google it. Full iPhone control. not just the specific apps they tell you are AppRadio compliant. Really more the way that it should have been implemented. Although from what I read AR Extensions are not as good as ARLiberator (android).
