Installing components in my 03. Are there stock crossovers already in these for the front mid woofer and tweeter?

IMO....If your putting in new component speakers, they will come with cross over, your best bet would be to run new wire( since youre that deep) and use all the component stuff... if I recall, on my o1, there was a small resistor on the tweet, but no real crossover..
I put in jl audio c5, all around, w/ crossover, had to dial em back quite a bit....small cab...then again, I gutted the entire truck, and used all JL Audio everything, and new wires. the hardest part was spacing the 6&1/2 right so the window would close, and get the door skin on all the way...lol

No stock crossovers came with the truck.

Thanks guys. It looks like the tweeter is in series with the woofer. My Kenwoods came with an in series crossover which I thought was wierd. So I hook up from the stereo to the woofer, then woofer, to crossover, to tweeter. Does that sound right?

Post a pic of the xover. I had a couple of different sets in my old truck and they were always the same..stereo to input, then 2 sets of outputs (tweeter and mid).

    Here are the pics:

Notice the 4 prongs on the mid range. Two for stereo input and two for this inline crossover thing. Those go to the tweeter.

Kenwood calls it an "inline crossover network"

Yeah, I installed everything, sounds WAYYY better then stock! I had to really trim the stock door inside the speaker covers to clear the 6.5's. Also needed speaker adapters from Metra. I modified the stock tweeter mounts to hokld the new tweeters.
