It says it's a 4 channel but I wanted to know if I can run a 4 channel amp and a mono amp? And would there be any cons to doing this?

First off what model amps are you gonna run?

I can't afford to do everything at once so I'm doing the subs first. But eventually would like to upgrade all the door speakers and run them off a 4 channel amp. The sub amp is an Alpine MRX-M110.

I am positive that you can add 'Y' RCA to the front channel to make it a 4 channel for the 4 channel amp and use the rear for the mono amp. If not you can use both the front and rear for the 4 channel amp and the 4 channels preamp output to wire the mono amp granted the 4 channel amp you get has a preamp output or precut jacks.

For the price of the Cleansweep I would choose AudioControl LC6i or LC7i over it. You don't need to use the Cleansweeps volume knob to control the volume. The CS has a knob to turn the volume up and down. I rather just use the HU for that.

Also, check into what 4-ch amp you'll want to use, some have a 2-4 input switch where you just need 2-ch inputs, that the amp will use to feed the 4-ch outputs.

Thanks man, I looked into it and I'm gonna go with the LC7i.

    Good choice.
