Got a fire stik II from a friend but trying to find out with antenna I have to decide on the coax cable I need. So I have a 4ft fire stik II antenna and I used there site ( http://www.firestik.com/Tech_Docs/NGP-ID.htm ) and couldn't figure it out. So do I have an FS Series antenna?? And what type of Coax cable do I need to use??

You sure it's a Firestik? By that chart it doesn't make any sense. If it is a NGP antenna you need special coax. If it's a regular Firestik, any coax will do. My advice: ditch the Firestik and get a good antenna.

I think that info was out of date and im sure its a fire stik II. I thought fire stiks are good antenna's? I don't want to drop a bunch of cash for the setup.

Fire Stick's are just fine and yes you need 18 feet of coax. I messed up when I ordered mine and bought the 18 Feet of coax with a 3 foot Fire Stick and ended up having to go back and get the 4 foot Fire stick.

Firestiks are popular: yes. Good: not really. What else do you have for the setup?

Unless you have issues, coax length doesn't matter.

This calculator is very handy. ;)

Remove mudflaps, Plasti dip badges/ lower val/ and grill, Plasti dip wheels, 5% tint all around, Tinted tails and 3rd, 55w driving lights in rear, Blue LED light strip in bed, Blue LEDs in cab/ cup holders...
After the coax make sure you have the plactic washers that go on the antenna. If it's an ngp you need one washer on both sides of the mount, if it's not ngp you need a washer on the top side only. Other then that you should be set, maybe extra wire depending where your getting power from.

Me and Tom both have swr meters you can use to tune.
