Pioneer AVH-X3500BHS

Ok, Ive looked elsewhere and can't find how to do it. I just installed a Pioneer AVH-X3500BHS is my 2011 Tacoma and I was wondering how to move pictures from my iPhone to the head unit. Do I have to have a VGA cable? I'm going to wire a bypass on the DVD player. Does this have to be done for the photos as well? Im usually pretty electronic savvy but this has me stumped. Thanks!

Are you trying to change the background image of the head unit?

Unfortunately the head unit only holds 1 picture at a time. What you would have to do is save the image (jpeg) on a USB. Connect that into your USB connection and select USB/iPod on the head unit. When you see the image press the play/pause button. On the screen you will see a rectangle with an arrow pointing down (I believe) which is the "capture" button. When you do that the image will be saved. Once saved go to themes, select background, and select image option for background.

As I said the head unit will only hold 1 picture so when you want to change the picture again the image that was uploaded previously will be overwritten by the new image.
