I have a 2000 PreRunner SR5, and have just installed a Kenwood DPX300U head unit. The head unit has a RMS power output of 22 watts.

Does anyone know the RMS number for the OEM speakers that are stock?

Kind of a hard question to answer. Those details are not found in many places and most people who care are just replacing the speakers anyway. I replaced mine in my 2013 and the size of the magnets were laughable. For $200 I was able to replace the door speakers with great infinity speakers.

2 watts.... Haha just kidding, deck would sound better with some aftermarket ones, those 13 year old speakers with probably 15+ years of ancient speaker technology are about due anyways, they won't last with the aftermarket deck unless am is your primary frequency range. On top of that, while $200 will buy you great speakers with great sound, a $75 or cheaper set would still be a great improvement. Good luck!!
