So you can use the 2013 or 2014 NAV IN 08+? Will any unit work or only specific ones? Jerez do you have pics from yours?

Can you explain this a little. Is this just for a 2008. Or if I do the swap in my 2013 will I have to find a new Vin that you guys are talking about.

In order to make the entune to work on any truck prior to an 2014, you need to register the radio itself (with your smartphone) but in order to do so you need a vin from a new truck

Just checking to see if anything has pop up other than the air bag light.

and did you have to get some other type of VIN that someone else was talking about on here.

Or was it that easy, just plug and play. and as far as the GPS antenna. is there a specific spot for it. just place it back there somewhere.

    Thanks

Once it's registered your app on your phone will have the same apps on your radio:

Nothing else besides the airbag light. Everything good.

I will post a picture of navigation working tomorrow.

I haven't downloaded and registered on entune yet. But they are all correct, if you wanna use entune, you need a valid VIN.

You don't need VIN to access weather, traffic, or navigation on the radio.

You can use the same VIN for up to 5 DIFFERENT entune accounts. So if you use a VIN you find on the net it should have no effect to the true owner.

The cable for the GPS antenna is too long. Thats why you see it looped in the picture. But there is plenty of space for it back there.
