I got a 2014 touchscreen HU in my 08. It'll be plug and play for the power and speaker plug. But you'll need an antenna adapter to plug in the antenna plug.

Metra 40-LX21. Got mine from crutchfield.

If you want to utilize the the Bluetooth then you need to get the 28-pin conversion harness. PT546-00120-CH

Mic that's plugs into that 28-pin conversion harness for the Bluetooth to work.

It'll work. Without the mic Bluetooth won't work. Somehow the HU has to detect that a mic is plugged in for the BT feature to work. I mainly wanted Bluetooth for streaming music from my iPhone. I don't ever call or use my phone while driving anyways.

I'm not really sure what plugs in on that empty slot. I'm guessing its for the higher end type of HU.

Edit* if you don't mind having BT than you don't need to get the harness and the mic. You can just get the antenna adapter.
