I just got a 2014 Tacoma Access Cab. I notice there's a button left side that says Apps. One I have says Traffic. I do not have navigation. One question is what does the traffic app do and can you download more apps?

There is no way to download more apps...and really there are no "apps" in the way we know them.

The Traffic and Weather Apps work by determining what the strongest HD radio signal to determine your location. Once it knows your location it displays maps or weather for the area that you are in, if there is traffic data avail for that area.

Mine consistently thinks I am approximately 100 miles from my actual location...

What kinda of things will the traffic app do? I was on a trip and had the app open and all it did was show me where I was on the map. At this point to me its almost useless but maybe I'm wrong.

The traffic app just colors the roads based on the traffic level (red, yellow, green). I don't think it does anything else, I could be wrong...
